The T100 is one of the largest import trucks, providing full-size cargo capability. It is available in a variety of rear-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive models. As a cargo hauler, it will carry three-quarter ton payload and tow up to 5,200 lbs.
Power comes from a 190 horsepower 3.4-liter DOHC V6 with a 5-speed manual. A driver airbag is standard equipment on all models. The 4WD model has the Automatic Disconnecting Differential (ADD) which permits changing from 2WD to 4WD on the fly. Some noise reduction work has improved passenger comfort, Brakes are front-ventilated discs and rear drums and 4-wheel ABS is optional. One of the winning convenience features has been the T100 tailgate design ΓÇö the tailgate door is easily removed with a ΓÇÿone-touchΓÇÖ release handle. Gavanealed steel sheets are used extensively throughout for added rust resistance.
